As Internet Everywhere uses the Orange mobile network, your service is dependent on the quality of the coverage you receive. To check the coverage in your area, call us on 8900. In areas where we have no 3G+ coverage, you will still get EDGE coverage

Yes you can. You can also receive SMS on your Internet Everywhere interface. SMS are charged separately and are not included in your Prepay or Post Pay packages (50cts for a Post Pay and 60cts for a Prepay)
Prepay Internet Everywhere
If you have enough credit on your SIM, send an SMS "buy int1GB" on 8684 to buy 1GB of data. You will receive a first SMS to acknowledge your request and a 2nd SMS to confirm that you have received 1GB of data.

Send an SMS "query" to 8684. You will receive an SMS with your remaining data balance as well as the validity of your package.

Post Pay Internet Everywhere
Send an SMS "conso" to 8444. You will receive an SMS with your remaining data balance, but this is not done in real time. For a request sent on a weekday, you will get the remaining balance as at midnight the previous day. For a request sent on a weekend, you will get the remaining balance as at 48 hours prior to the request.

Yes. The dongle is a plug and play device, so simply plug in the device into another laptop or PC and it will install the software, then you're good to go.

How do I sign up?
Just walk into any of our Orange Shops and choose between a Prepay or a Post Pay Internet Everywhere kit
As soon as you receive your Internet Everywhere kit you're ready to go. It's not like a fixed broadband connection that can take between 7-10 working days to get you connected.

How much does it cost?
Yes you can. If you are not subscribed to any Internet Everywhere plan but you still want to surf using your key, then you can on Pay As You Go. You will be billed at Rs3/MB (Prepay or Post Pay)
No. If you are subscribed on a Post Pay Internet Everywhere plan, you can choose to pay by direct debit or in an Orange shop. We recommend paying by direct debit as it's more convenient.

Prepay : You will be charged Rs 3/MB given that you have enough credit on your phone.
Post Pay: You will be charged Rs 2/MB out of bundle.
Post Pay client: Yes you can. You will be charged pro-rata on the old package and pro-rata on the new package.

Prepay: If you bought a package of 1GB and have used more than this amount then you will be billed at Rs 3/MB, given that you have enough credit on your SIM
Post Pay: Orange Internet Everywhere gives you an inclusive amount of data per month, for example 3GB. If you use more than this amount of data in any one month (billing period) then you will be charged an 'out-of-bundle' rate for the additional data you transfer which is Rs 2/MB.

Can I use it abroad?
Check our tariffs for data roaming. Note that tariffs are subject to change
Yes, you can but you will need to enable it before going abroad by calling 8900. Please be aware though that any usage abroad will not be deducted from your domestic data bundle and that you will be charged at a different rate.

Internet Everywhere uses the Orange mobile network (3G+/3G/EDGE/GPRS) to give you an Internet connection, which means that you can stay connected anywhere you have Orange coverage.

A dongle is the name for the USB device that allows you to connect to mobile broadband. You might also hear it called a USB modem or USB stick.

3G refers to the Third Generation mobile network.
High Speed Downlink Packet Access. HSDPA comes in a number of different speeds, for example. 1.8, 3.6 and 7.2Mbps.
High Speed Uplink Packet Access. As well as downloading data from the Internet, you may need to upload data such as pictures on to a social networking site. HSUPA enables you to do this very quickly via the 3G network. Downlink speed is up to 7.2Mbps and uplink speed is up to 2.0Mbps
